Face of the Day: Purplish Brown

I have been wearing this look for quite sometime now and I was thinking of sharing it with you. I already had this picture on my Maybelline Clear Smooth Powder post but I guess I just have to show you again just in case you want to know how I did this look.

Face of the Day: Create a V

I don't know if most of you have notice but I don't usually go for a dark / smokey eyes. Maybe because I'm not that comfortable with the dark? That doesn't sound good. Let's just say I have not mastered how to create smokey eyes. If you have any tips, let me know! I want to learn a thing or two. I was going out to attend KRAVE 1st anniversary event and I decided to just go with a smooth finish & simple make up.

Face of the Day: Less Colors

I always wanted to have dramatic eyes or if I don't go for dramatic eyes, I go for bold lips. Sorry, I just love doing it. It becomes a hobby. I like colors, it makes me feel good and active. If that makes sense. Anyway, here's a look that I didn't put too much color on.

Face of the Day: Spring time?

I decided to be a bit glowy and summery (I have no idea if that is even a word) today because I love the color PINK and a bit of orange! Here's a sample the one I've tried.

EYES:

Gold on the lids

White on the inner corners & browbone

Face of the Day: Berry Lips

Did you know that Fall is already here and it's time to try the trend that everybody is loving! Berry Lips. Oh yes! I tried wearing it at school and my friends love it. Maybe cause it is a combination of plum, rose and red. It's sooo lovely when it is paired with natural looking eyes. BTW, please pardon my unequal crease. My right eye always looks more hooded than the other. Anyway here it is! ;)

Face of the Day: Bruise or Zombie

Since we are addicted to The Walking Dead TV series and Left for Dead PC game, I decided to try this look. I exactly have no idea what I'm doing because I'm trying out the make up look for zombie where they have deeply sunken dark circles and bloodshot eyes. I ended up looking  like someone punched me in the eye and instantly had a black eye. Our kasambahay was soooo amazed that when I told her that I'll be removing it immediately after showing them, she asked me to keep it and show it to dad telling him that my brother punched me. 

I just did my one eye and had a natural make up on the other. Nothing much to see here because I really have no idea what I'm doing. It turned out really good personally but not that grotesque in pictures.

Face of the Day: Winged Liner

And because I've got nothing to do and I haven't done any blogging these past weeks about make up,  I tried doing an overly visible winged liner. And because I'm loving my Naked 2 palette from Urban Decay which I got from Unico Moda, I practically used most of its color in this eye make up. Face of the Day: Nude Lips

This look was sponsored by Ate Cindy's birthday gift for me. She's the elder sister of Agatha. Agatha also got the same palette I have. Hers is leaning more on the neutral side while mine is more likely to be used for the Smokey eyes effect. Anyway, let's move on to what I came up with the gift.

Oh yes, I am awkwardly smiling in this shot yet again. Why can't I just have a  nice and happy smile where it doesn't look weird?

Face of the Day: Doll Eyes?

DOLL EYES. How would I describe it? As I have read in some blogs, having a doll-eye make up is all about making your eyes look droopy or sleepy. Get it? Uhmm... Another explanation is that, it is an inverted wing. So instead of having it winged UPWARDS, you extend your eyeliner DOWNWARDS. That's the usual eye make up of asian celebrities (in korea, japan, china). Here's a shot of me trying to achieve a doll-eye effect.

Sorry if I'm a bit squinting over here because the light is too much for me. Sunlight, a little low please. Focus you attention on the outer corners of my eyes. When you wing your eyeliner downward, you have to connect it a liner from your lower lashline creating a droopy eye effect. I don't know if you can clearly distinguish it in this photo but that's what I really meant with doll-eyes. Anyway, thank you for reading and till next time! ;)

Face of the Day: Red Lipstick

I always wanted to try RED LIPSTICK, but I always end up topping it with a baby pink lip stain just to decrease the brightness of the red color. Some people say, less is more. Let's take a moment to appreciate the red lipstick. And please, let's stick to that one because I don't have much make up on. I just swiped on a red lipstick and took a picture.

Does anyone of you noticed that my eyelids are not proportionate? Look, my right eyelid lags lower than my left one. How would I notice? It's because whenever I line my eyes with a pencil liner on my right eyelid, I tend to have a fake crease. This is due to the lids that always came on close contact with my lashes. Face of the Day: Hide those Eyebags

Pardon the same shirt of this picture. I am currently loving this shirt that's why I keep on wearing this whenever we go to Tagaytay. It's actually a long sleeves cotton shirt which keeps me comfortable in cold weather. Anyway, let's move on with my face of the day. There isn't much about this look, but I don't know if you could see. the colors I used are quite showy.

Face of the Day: Foundation Routine

And because I'm totally in love with this MAYBELLINE Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Foundation, I decided to use it with a foundation brush. No regrets, I love how it looked on me. Not only it looked flawless but it also decreased the visibility of pores which is a huge problem for me. And now I appreciate how it these things work.

EYES:

Pearl pink eyeshadow cream as base

Gold eyeshadow on lids

Rust colored eyeshadow on crease

Black eyeliner with a wing

Navy blue eyeshadow on top of the eyeliner

Any color of lipstick would do but since I like to keep it fresh, I just settled on a pale pink shade from Avon. Not much on the blush, I just used ELF all over color stick in pink champagne just to have a slight color on my cheeks. Anyway, that's practically it. I wonder if I would still do some face of the day. Maybe I'll just post the pictures and rite about the things I used. Till next time, thank you for reading. ;))
