SKIN79: Super BB Cream in Gold

Here's another cute BB cream, cute as in little. And it is GOLD so it kinda reminds me of jewelry and royalty. Woot! That sounded like a song. Anyway, I got this from the instagram account of femmerepublic. Which practically managed by my batchmate in med school. So I do hope you follow their account for lots of beauty products from Etude, Skinfood, Missha, Skin79, Tony Moly, The Face Shop, Peri Pera, 3CE and many more.

Look at that girl. She looks totally like a rocker chic. This product is part of the VIP Gold Collection of Skin79. Let's just get down to business shall we?

SAN SAN: HD Concealer

SAN SAN products are locally available at any HBC outlets. I mean, my mom has known HBC for as long as I can remember. She bought different kinds of stuff like nail clipper, nail polish, tweezers and the like. They are usually located outside malls, but don't you worry they also have branches there.

They have released SAN SAN HD (High Definition) Line.
They have a concealer, pressed powder and liquid foundation. And with this post, I'm gonna tell you about the concealer.

GARNIER: BB Eye Roll-On

I already tried Garnier Eye roll-on which helps reduce fine lines and underye darkness. I have used it last year and I had provided me with comfort everytime I glide it under my eye. I just learned about the Garnier BB Eye Roll-on juste because of the beauty gurus in youtube have been using them. So last year, I was thinking of buying one but I ended up not purchasing it because I think it's a bit pricey for me (249php). At last, I got one this year!

Ok let's talk about this more (why it has been talk of the town and talk of most of the youtube beauty gurus in the past year) after the break.

AVON: Simply Pretty BB Cream

I have known Avon ladies from all over the Philippines and I am sure there are also Avon ladies around the globe. Considering the fact that there are international artists that endorse Avon products. I remember the first few things my mom got me from Avon is a lipstick and an eye liner. She have been using Avon products even before she got me those. Oops, that's a long intro. I'm sorry, moving on.

This is the AVON: Simply Pretty BB Cream. They have a wide range of make-up products. And this is the first time they released a BB cream. Well maybe because more and more Filipinas enjoy BB cream because it gives natural coverage with skin care benefits.

SKIN79: Super BB in Pink

Here's a really cute BB cream, I mean literally cute as in little. Of course, I also love it for the fact that it is PINK and it is a BB cream. I got this from the instagram account of femmerepublic. I mean look at this box. It's so pink, it hurts. Well, that's inappropriate. Let's just get down to business shall we?

POND'S Flawless White BB Cream

I love Ponds, I have been using it since I started being conscious about my skin care routine. So that'll be around 5th or 6th grade, because that's the time I started having acne. The products I typically use under this name are facial wash and face cream. And now that they have released a BB cream, I just can't wait to try it.

This is the Pond's Flawless White BB Cream in Light. They already released BEIGE color so that'll suit more Filipina or morena beauties out there!

Fragrance in Pink: CHANEL & VERSACE

Ok this will be an awkward review because I can't particularly describe a scent. Besides the fact that they smell good, I can't describe it enough to satisfy the need to know what the smell is. So I got some help from the internet (yes, google) and what I'm practically saying here will be lifted off from the official websites of each product.

Oh, those who haven't noticed, they are both pink. Just because I love pink.
Lets's start with Chance by Chanel.
It was released in the year 2003. And since it is a French brand, Chance in French means luck. The thing about this "Chance" product is that it is the only round bottle released by Chanel. It actually projects extreme freshness that has a slight combination of flower and spicy. They have pink pepper, lemon and pineapple scents in here. They also included some of hyacinth, jasmine and iris, while the base is made up of amber, patchouli, vetiver and white musk. Credits to the maker Jacques Polge.

Next is the Bright Crystal by Versace.
For me, the scent it gives makes me think that maybe these 2 eau de toilette are cousins or maybe sisters. Thus, it also projects freshness with flowery scent and spice. It contains yuzu, pomegranate with peony, magnolia and lotus. With the base of amber and musk. This is inspired by Donatella Versace's favorite floral fragrances mixture.

LAURA MERCIER: Luxe Colour Wardrobe, Dual Decker

This might be the best gift I'll ever receive from my parents. Part because I love make-up and also because this is the first time they have ever given me a gift that involves make up. So let's start?

It is the Laura Mercier Luxe Colour Wardrobe, Dual Decker Colour for eyes and Cheeks. It's cute because it's a dual decker. It has a blending brush, smudge brush, pencil brush and flat angled brush. More after the break!

COLLECTION: Naturally Matt Foundation

So I had this foundation because my brother gave it to me as a birthday present. I couldn't be more thankful to have a brother like that. Anyway, he said that he bought this at Robinsons Dasmarinas. And I'm pretty sure you'll also see this at any beauty stores. He got the color BEIGE for me.

BEN NYE Neutral Set Powder

Oh hello there, nice to see you drop by again. And now for one of the products that can be classified as "Worth the Hype", the Ben Nye Face Powders. These are the ones that can only be bought online. Maybe because I haven't seen a branch of Ben Nye within the Metro. The hype around are all about the Ben Nye Banana powder. It is because of the yellow undertone that perfectly suits the Filipino color. But, we won't talk about that here, today we'll be talking about the Ben Nye Neutral Set Colorless Face Powder.

JASJ Soap Clinique

Hello there, I have been rotated to Internal Medicine as our wardwork schedule. And our group's preceptor was a Dermatologist, which made me realize that not all skin disease are the same and if you don't have sufficient knowledge about a certain symptom, it is better to refer. She made us realize that it's ok not be a "know-it-all" doctor, referralmis the best you can do for your patient.

And the best advice she gave to us is to take care of our skin, the first step is to maintain a good skin barrier. And with that, she told us to use the mildest soap we can find in the store. We should choose soaps that has more moisturizer than soap. It keeps the skin hydrated, soft and protected. Oils in the soap makes it more mositurizing. Chemicals in the soap can be hidden in messages that say, protects the skin from bacteria or prevents body odor. These chemicals tend to dry out skin and makes it more prone to scratches and infection.

With that lengthy intro, I'd like to tell you about soaps. A friend of mine recently opened a soap store. JASJ SOAP CLINIQUE. These soaps are organic soaps which will definitely make your skin thank you for a great choice. These soaps are made with nature's product so no worries about having some chemicals that could harm your skin. Without further ado, here's the products they have that I have with me.

I think you know that the sun has given us a lot of good things? The most common is that VITAMIN D. Oh well, who doesn't know about that anyway? The thing about the sun, it can be damaging to the skin. How? It gives wrinkles, sunburn, early skin aging and cancer. Yes, as much as it does gives the good effects, it also has some bad ones. But what can we do, we can't hide from the sun. All we have to do is protect our skin from it.

I have incredible large pores. I mean it. You can see my pores from 2feet away from me. I can't do anything to cover it because it is really difficult to do so. What I do is I just reduce to a less noticeable size with the help of my usual BB cream. That's why I love the BB cream. And I have learned some way  on applying it to make my pores less visible. And that is all about reading. Anyway, let's move on.

Makes your skin poreless, baby smooth, lightweight and breathable.

This 22ml tube is worth 299pesos and is available in SM malls Watsons. You know Watsons, this is the place for make up drugstore.

ESSENCE get BIG lashes

This beauty brand was claimed to be No.1 in Europe. Wow! I wasn't even aware of this brand until I saw one of the post of TBJ. I love drugstore make up, why? It is because they are affordable. I am not much into mascara but I decided to try this one because I need a new mascara. The old one I have have been dried out. Anyway, moving on to the product.

This one is worth 169pesos for a 12ml tube and I bought it at SM Makati Watsons. I really have scarce lashes and the VOLUME word on the tube made me buy it.
