Why people find me annoying?

Is it because I'm talented, and they are just envious?
I play the piano, LOOK! I can play a Mozart in F
Can you hear that? I'm good at this huh.
So do you play anything besides video games?

Is it because I'm brainy?
Yes, I express my opinions and I just won't care about yours
Is that even bad that I don't like you at all?
Oh gosh, I haven't finished reading this chapter.

Is it because I act differently and get angry when judged?
I love making jokes about you, but don't you dare talk about me
I have lived a different society and I don't see where your attitude fits
This is how I choose to act, no you can't ask me about it

Is it because I want my idea to be the primary consideration?
I can do this on my own, I don't need your help
You might just mess up everything and I'll have to redo everything
So I can't talk to you about how you want your idea to work

Is it because I demand respect?
I know it is earned, but I do deserve this
Besides, I think I am definitely higher than you
Please check you grades.

Shanghai Dynamite

Ok, so I have no idea if you already knew about this kind of food but it is definitely delicious. It is just practically cayenne filled with cheese and some ground pork. We had this at our Christmas party and I asked a friend of mine (KC) if I could borrow the recipe so I can make some at home. I was so good, I was thinking of making another set this week. So for the recipe (c/o my friend KC), see the continuation of this post. BTW, in case you might read something that is out of the ordinary, please excuse that. ;)

DIGMAN's Best Halo-Halo

Ok so maybe we were kinda late about hearing about Digman's best Halo-Halo. But at last we made it! We have to look for the place. Uhmm, here's a screencap of google map to locate DIGMAN.
The checkpoint to look for here is the St. Dominic College of Art and Science. If your taking the road from Bacoor, take the road going to Costal. When you reach an intersection, make a LEFT and straight on. Look out for a HALF ARCH on the right side of the road, there is a small street then make a RIGHT, small walk from the main road and you'll find another street then make a LEFT which you will see this sign.
More info about how to get there and why DIGMAN is one of the best Halo-Halo, after the break. Click Read More. ;)

JANSPORT Bags

A good day to all of you. I just decided to share to you the Jansport Bags my brother and I purchased recently from La Unico Moda. Please like their page, I would really appreciate it. Here's a shot.
These are authentic bags that are sold for lesser price. I have tried and tested these bags and they are indeed durable. Another plus is that they are stylish. Check their page, they also have handbags and clothes on sale. I know you'll find something that you'll like! Thank you so much. ;)

Security Toy

I just dropped by to introduce to you my Security toy. She needs a bath so I had to sleep without her for 3 nights. It's quite disturbing because I've been sleeping with her since I was in Grade 3 or 4 I guess. These kinds of things are explained through a study. Security blankets are usually kept mostly by female subjects. These provide relaxation and lessened distress as measured by blood pressure and heart rate. They call it "essentialism" which means that the object is more than just their physical properties.
I've been hugging this doll when I'm depressed or definitely happy or just simply in need of good sleep. I noticed that I was finding it hard to sleep without my doll and if I do sleep, I usually get awaken by the feeling of wanting my doll near me. Oh well, hello everyone. Meet SEIKI. ;)

ASSAM Milk Tea

And yes! After a long hiatus, I am indeed back with a post about a milk tea. I just found this because of a friend who suggested it to me. Why do people suggest different milk teas to me? It's because I'm addicted to milk teas and I've decided to try different ones and share my thoughts about it here. Ok, now let's start with the packaging. Since I just bought it in a convenience store, it is in a plastic bottle. The taste? It's very similar to the Lipton Milk tea. I can't even describe it more because for me the taste is really the same.
It doesn't have jellies or pearls which made me sad. Awww. I was really expecting pearls or jellies on each milk tea I try. Anyway, I bought this at 7-11 for 45php. So I think you can grab this at any convenience store or at the supermarket. If you have tried this, let me know what you think in the information box below. Thank you for your time.

Early Growth Sprout

As a kid, I was one of the tallest girls. During elementary days, I would be at the back of the line because I am indeed tall. The guys on my class were just shorter, I was one of the kids who had an early growth sprout. The explanation behind this is that, girls usually have earlier puberty than boys. That's why they grow taller earlier. Another explanation is that the epiphyseal plate close earlier in girls.
On the left was my picture when I was in Grade 6, on the right is my current picture! OMG! That shirt is definitely durable. at hindi na ako lumaki!!! Pardon the short hair, I was having a bad scalp condition those days that my dad decided to cut my long hair. Besides he said that I'm addicted to the TV series CHARMED where Phoebe had a pixie cut. Bad example! Anyway, do you have these clothes that you still wear even after a long time had passed?

Public Advisory: Maring

As a student, I am always awaiting for class suspension announcement. I mean, who doesn't want that? The usual class suspension only involves preschool, elementary and high school. Sometimes college if the storm signal hits number 3. But unluckily med-school, like ours, have their own protocol. Oh you know what I mean. As post graduates, we need to come to class even if it rains like crazy outside. "Tingin kasi nila waterproof kami" and by that, only heavy torrential rains and flood can only be the reason for suspension. Just to keep everyone aware, here's a helpful picture.
Courtesy: sunstar.com.ph
But this post isn't about me asking for more suspension days. August 21, a day where we celebrate the death anniversary of Ninoy for what he has done in our country. This might also be a day to call out for help because of the calamity that has struck our nation. Maring has already caused thousand of lives and houses. It caused flood to almost every city in Manila. First of all, I have to post this important hotline. Please save and share this.

NESCAFE Frappe

As a student, it is essential for me to stay awake for long hours in the morning and in the evening. But it's hard for me because I commute from house to school and back. It's really tiring at time plus the brain drain with 8 hours of lecture. So to those who manage to resist the urge to lay on their bed, I SALUTE YOU! And for people like me who is totally in love with their bed, I need coffee to boost me up. Believe it or not, caffeine really kicks my ass and keeps me awake and energetic. I've been in love with Nescafe and I'm so glad they came up with a new product.
The first one is Cookies and Cream. If you have tried the ice cream cookies and cream, that's practically how it tastes like. It's like you have placed that ice cream into the Nescafe coffee. On a separate sachet, they have cookie crumbles that you need to pour before drinking the coffee. I like it because it's yummy and it tastes like cookies. The second one is the Choco N Marshmallows. This one is the Nescafe coffee with I think swiss chocolate in it? I can't really say because it's definitely delicious. The separate sachet gives you a ton of small marshmallows as topping for your drink. Cute right?
Have you tried this one? Would you suggest some coffee flavors that are a must try for caffeine addicts like me? Thank you for your time and Godbless! ;)

DADDY's Birthday

I'm thinking about how to give someone a gift when they have everything? I mean, someone who can buy anything he wants. Oh well, it's my dad's birthday on the 15th and my brother and I have no idea what to give him. Maybe a card? Oh yes, the typical cheap and sentimental cards. It is where you place all your thoughts and wishes to the birthday celebrant. We have given him a personalized coffee tumbler, picture frame and even a shirt. Do you have any suggestions? Please leave them in the comment box below. Thank you so much! ;)

MOVIES 1st half of 2013

I have not been in a cinema for like a thousand years because of studies. And for the fact that I find it quite expensive to watch a movie once and pay for more than a hundred. So instead, I usually wait for a DVD release and watch the movie with my family. But these 2 movies are the ones I have been waiting for since 2012.

First one is the installment of Fast and Furious. Actually it's called Fast 6. The story gave a huge twist that made everyone hang on to their seats. As the trailer have spoiled it, Letty is back. And so the team gathers as Hobbes assigns them on a mission, and yup. You guessed it. If they complete the mission, they get Letty back. The car chase is as great as ever, it's one of a kind because of the TANK!!! "They got a TANK!" Oh well, enough of this. If you haven't checked it out, I suggest you go to your nearest mall and grab a ticket while they're still showing this movie. It's actually no.2 on the box office movies today with 19.6million dollars. Plus, the soundtrack was wayyy too cool. XD

Second is the Now You See Me. Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson team up yet again (the duo from Zombieland) for another epic movie. Yes, I love these 2. I mean, who wouldn't? I cannot say anything more about this because this is one of the best mindf*ck movies I have ever watched. It actually fascinates me whenever a magic trick is revealed. So if you like magic and then shown how it is done, this is the one for you. You better see this, "the closer you look, the less you'll see." Note, this is no.3 on the box office movies today with 19million dollars. Sweet!
OMG! I cannot believe I have watched these movies in 2 consecutive weeks! I had fun and I love it. Tell me what you think in the comment box below if you have watched it. If not, what movies do you suggest? Till next time! :)

Casa Rap

We have been to a place in Batangas called Casa Rap. It is located in km90 in Brgy Banaylanay, San Jose, Batangas. It is just beside the road and is open from 7 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon. We decided to go there because we wanted to try their Halo Halo. And it seems fit due to the extreme heat we are experiencing.

Residencia del Riego

This vacation was planned long time ago. And this schedule was due because we got it from Cash Cash Pinoy. You will get a lot of promos on that site, from travel, to furnitures, food & dining, lifestyle to accessories. The best deals are here! Plus, you can even pay the promo at 7eleven, banks, creditcard or LBC. Convenient right? Anyway, let's move on to the place where we stayed for a night. Residencia del Riego at Alitagtag, Batangas.

You decide. Who will stay and who will go.

Election day.
I was wondering if the candidates will still give away money to incoming voters. Wow! Anything to win right? Ok there - I've said it. it does happen, I've seen it on the news, I've heard about it through some acquaintances and I've seen it happen right before my eyes. I can blame them, they badly wanted to win that they are engulfed by demons telling them to do irrational actions. Dignity and principle in life, stained. What can we do?

Do you really think 1 vote can change the world? Reality, NO. It takes one whole town (not just a person) to vote for a candidate to win a position in the government. I'm not discouraging to vote, all I'm saying is if you want something to happen, DO IT. If your vote makes you think that you can change the politics, DO IT. But please, do your research.

Read about the candidates you want to vote and analyse their capabilities. There are a lot of candidates that run for a position in the government because they have a relative already in position. We can call this POLITICAL DYNASTY. We can't do anything about it, it's been there for as long as most of us can remember. VOTE WISELY, they say. It is because voting is the least we can do for our own society.

Overused Senses

Election is just around the corner, and the jingles of different candidates are booming around town. They range from Lady gaga (poker face), Nicki Minaj (super bass), Black Eyed Peas (Bebot), Willie Revillame, Marian Rivera and Carly Rae Jepsen (Call me maybe) which are changed into lyrics that says "iboto ang ating kandidato". I was so pissed one time because I was studying for PHARMA, which for me is a really hard subject, and then suddenly a loud music stops in front of our house. I can't believe it. They have to stop for 30mins in front of our house just to place that song. DI KITA IBOBOTO, SINISIRA MO PAG AARAL KO!!! The campaign period here in our place for me looks like a riot. The campaign materials is a mess, there is a place in our barangay which is a part of a depressed area. There are a lot of indigent people within this area and I think they would benefit if the candidate will visit them. Oh well maybe not just visit. If they get elected, I hope they really do something to help the society.

Sir Chief

I haven't paid much attention to the teleserye "Be Careful with my Heart" of ABS-CBN because of all the school stuff I'm burying myself into. Almost all of the people I know kept squealing about it, fangirl-ing in every moment you engage them in a conversation. It's always like: Hey have you seen the latest episode of Be careful with my Heart? And the response will always start with:
So after all the exams and school matters, I decided to take a peek on that. Then I was side-tracked because I'm so absorbed into reading Fifty Shades Trilogy. And last night I watched an episode because my brother is screaming and laughing like a girl, sobrang kinikilig eh!!! The episode is about Sir Chief and Maya talking about random stuff over the phone, and before Sir Chief hung up he said "I Love you" and instantly Maya replied "I love you". And right after that, Maya was shocked why she said that. And there it is, the kilig just hit me and I was like:
I suggest you watch this. I'm not kidding, it is really good. Kung naghahanap ka ng kilig factor, ito na ang teleserye para sayo. Wag ka mag alala, hindi lang ito para sa mga katulong. ;)

SERENITEA Milk Tea

Another milk tea adventure I'd like to share to you. I was at ATC (Alabang Town Center) to meet my nursing friend, kasi last kami nagkita y noong graduation pa! GRABEHAN LANG SA TAGAL. She's busy in work nowadays and planning to take NCLEX, while I'm busy at med-school. I haven't seen my nursing classmates for more than a year now and seeing them gives me that feeling that no relationship can top that.
Oops, that was way too far from the topic I'm suppose to talk about. Anyway, moving on to +SERENITEA. It's the first time I've tried this one because I haven't seen a store with the usual malls I go to. I ordered Okinawa and added some pearls. For me, a milk tea is incomplete if it doesn't have pearls in it. You can also choose what level of sweetness, from 0-100% sugar. I asked it to be 100%. The price range is from 80pesos (for plain milk tea) up to more than a hundred based on the add-ons.
Photo from Google

I usually order Okinawa in other milk tea stores just because I love my milk tea with a hint of caramel to make it sweeter. I don't know but when I tasted it it was quite bland for me. Maybe there is too much ice in it? I was looking for a bit of a strong tea taste rather than just milk. I'll try other milk tea flavors they have (Hokkaido perhaps) and I'll compare it. Somehow, I was a bit disappointed on my order. But I will not give up, because I love milk tea! Here's the link of the Facebook page in case you want to look for other locations of Serenitea. Thank you for your time! ;)

E-BOOKS

I love reading books ever since I was in grade 4 or 5 I think? The first books I read was Secret Garden, The Little Princess and the Nancy Drew Series. Then I got addicted to Goosebumps, it's like a horror for youngsters. They got this book where you decide what happens in the story because at the end of each page there are choices to make and will lead you to another page which is the continuation of the decision you just made. It's fun actually.

Anyway, I decided to post about this because I love reading books. And ever since I got a tab, I have been downloading ebooks online. The page where I downloaded most of my books is epubbud.com this is a usual site in which you can download available book FREE! All you need is an ebook reader app and you're good to go.
Another way to have ebooks is that you can purchase it from ebooks seller. They sell for as low as 10 pesos per book. Great deal right? I found out about them on instagram, you might want to follow me if you want to check out some of the ebooks sellers. My instagram is @majorieann quite the same for almost all my accounts. Anyway, for those book lovers out there! Can you suggest some good reads for me? Thanks!

BANAPPLE Cakes

Oh yes! The Foodie in me strikes again. And now, the sweet tooth kicks in. Since it's Valentine's day, I think Banapple is a good place to be. With a cake and coffee, you'll surely enjoy the company of your special someone this Valentine's day. Anyway, let's move on to the cakes!
