And now to address the public of the real problem here. The problem here is about waste production. Why is there flood? Let's cite some possible reasons:
- Heavy rains. Yes, it's mother nature's work. We can't do anything to stop it and our country has been hit by thousands of storms in the past. We all know it and we prepare for the possible outcome.
- Poor drainage system. This has been a problem for as long as I can remember. And the thing is it was never a priority of the government. A good example is the one I see at Dasmarinas, Cavite months before (every freakin) election. A perfectly good road will be destroyed by massive machinery. And you will see a poster at the side of the road, "Road restoration from This place to This place. A 9 million project of your honorable officer Crocs." Please redirect your money, manpower & resources to more useful terms. Thank you.
- People who don't care where they throw their trash. I'm sorry but this is the MAJOR cause why the drainage keeps on getting clogged. People, it's your place and your life that you're destroying. You throw your trash somewhere it clogs the drainage or cause blockage, expect to be stranded on your roof on the next rainstorm.
I can't do much but we can all help our place be a better one. So start on ourselves. "I start the change I want to see" If you want to donate anything from clothes to food and other necessities, I'm pretty sure your school or community is arranging that to send out to huge companies or networks so they could be the one to disseminate the goods. Keep safe everyone and Godbless us all.
"God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes"
Matthew 6:34
