SNOE Rouge Deluxe in Just Peachy

Who would have thought I'll be having another lipstick. It's been a while since I had a new color. If you can remember, I have won COM for March from The Beauty Junkee blog. Here's a list of the products included in the gift set, view my post: Unexpected Package. Ok, for the product at hand. Introducing the SNOE Rouge Deluxe in Just Peachy. From the name itself, it is indeed quite peachy. The right blend of red and orange. I love it. This is a brand that works with the beauty of natural ingredients so no worries about the chemicals.

Face of the Day: Create a V

I don't know if most of you have notice but I don't usually go for a dark / smokey eyes. Maybe because I'm not that comfortable with the dark? That doesn't sound good. Let's just say I have not mastered how to create smokey eyes. If you have any tips, let me know! I want to learn a thing or two. I was going out to attend KRAVE 1st anniversary event and I decided to just go with a smooth finish & simple make up.

Face of the Day: Pink Hue

If you can notice everything about my blog, it's PINK. I love pink! And almost everything I own have a hint of pink. But I seldom use pink as an eyeshadow color since I think it's quite bold for me. Well anyway, since I was inspired by the P500 Make up Challenge done by Ana Victorino I decided to try it. It's not as perfect as hers but I tried using the same colors.

Ooops! Just in case you can't see the eyeshadow because of my hooded eyelids, here is a shot of my my half closed eyes. I think this would pass up to be an everyday look because I didn't made it too dramatic at all. Oh well, i still love pink. MAYBELLINE Water Shine Pure Lipstick

This lipstick, not from my money. He bought it and he personally picked the shade. Since Maybelline is 30% off during all weekends of May, I decided to have one for my own. I got mine in MF21, it is pinkish red color with an ample amount of shine. Let's start with the package. It's just the usual type of lipstick container with a nice silvery blue hue.

What I love about this is like after smoothly applying this lipstick, the shine it gives isn't like the one where you top a lipstick with a gloss. The shine is like you drank water and the water effect stays on the lipstick. Isn't that great? I don't know if this is a good thing or not but I swatched the lipstick on the back of my hand took a shot then took a bath. I was so shocked when I still saw a hint of the lipstick on the back of my hand. I don't know if you can see in in this picture but I encircled the spot where I swatched the lipstick.

Oh well, I love the color and the hydration it gives my lips. I will definitely buy another one of these after emptying this one. Hope you'll also try this because they have many different gorgeous shades to choose from. Buy one during the 30% off weekends of May! Here's a shot of me wearing this lipstick. ;)

I BELIEVE: Own Shade of Lipstick

I got tired reading my Obstetrics book and I'm only at chapter 4 so today, I read an article on the LOOK magazine. It states that I shouldn't be buying a lot of different colors of lipsticks and should stick on the basic ones like nude, rosy pink, hot pink, orange and red. This is for the reason that you can control the color on your lips the way you want it. These could be used on top of one another to create different shades you desire. Luckily, I have them all.

The first 2 are from Avon, and as you can see they are the ones I usually use. The hot pink is from Nivea which is totally shimmery and I love the pink shade of it. The next one is from Mac, a nude color near to beige which I use whenever I go for dramatic bold eyes. And the last one is from Lancome, it's a bright red lipstick which goes well when I don't have much make up on.

The tip is to first put on a shade you want to stand out. If you want orangy red, swipe an orange before topping it off with a red. The second color is the one that will control your base giving it the perfect shade you want. Another tip is if you want 1 color to stand out than the other is to have 2-3swipes of the color you want.

Face of the Day: Berry Lips

Did you know that Fall is already here and it's time to try the trend that everybody is loving! Berry Lips. Oh yes! I tried wearing it at school and my friends love it. Maybe cause it is a combination of plum, rose and red. It's sooo lovely when it is paired with natural looking eyes. BTW, please pardon my unequal crease. My right eye always looks more hooded than the other. Anyway here it is! ;)

Mini Lipgloss

And yes because I don't usually use lipgloss, I don't have one of my own. Maybe because I have a range of shimmer to glossy lipstick? Anyway, I found something cute and I figured it would be a nice gift. And it actually costs 50pesos. Just take a look at this precious one!

I love that it just gives a slight gloss, sheer pink color and omph on your lips. It is not as sticky as some of the lipgloss that I've tried. This one is a bit watery which gives any color of lipstick a nice watery gloss. Here's a swatch of the product on the back of my hand.

Face of the Day: Nude Lips

This look was sponsored by Ate Cindy's birthday gift for me. She's the elder sister of Agatha. Agatha also got the same palette I have. Hers is leaning more on the neutral side while mine is more likely to be used for the Smokey eyes effect. Anyway, let's move on to what I came up with the gift.

Oh yes, I am awkwardly smiling in this shot yet again. Why can't I just have a  nice and happy smile where it doesn't look weird?

Unico Moda Haul

Lately, I was at Unico Moda's store to pick up Rowena's stuff. And I got a chance to chat with Pam and Pau about their customers and my readers. Remember when I blogged about BENEFIT's Eye Bright? CLICK THIS LINK to read the post about that. They said that since I posted that, their customers suddenly wanted to try Benefit's Eye Bright. WOW! My eyebags was really convincing. Pinagpuyatan ko yun! What more can I say, this product really works. The product became so in demand, they were out of stock few days after I posted that blog. Another thing is that, it is heart warming that people are reading my blog. WOW! WOW! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. Uhmm.. Last one before going to my main topic, since the Eye Bright pencil is out of stock, you can choose this one.

Face of the Day: Red Lipstick

I always wanted to try RED LIPSTICK, but I always end up topping it with a baby pink lip stain just to decrease the brightness of the red color. Some people say, less is more. Let's take a moment to appreciate the red lipstick. And please, let's stick to that one because I don't have much make up on. I just swiped on a red lipstick and took a picture.

Does anyone of you noticed that my eyelids are not proportionate? Look, my right eyelid lags lower than my left one. How would I notice? It's because whenever I line my eyes with a pencil liner on my right eyelid, I tend to have a fake crease. This is due to the lids that always came on close contact with my lashes. Pardon the same shirt of this picture. I am currently loving this shirt that's why I keep on wearing this whenever we go to Tagaytay. It's actually a long sleeves cotton shirt which keeps me comfortable in cold weather. Anyway, let's move on with my face of the day. Thank you KC for telling me that Robinsons Imus has a section of ELF in their Department store. As you all have known, I have been loving ELF ever since I've discovered them at SM Megamall. It's because that they are affordable even if they are a brand from abroad. Besides they have a wide selection of products to choose from. UNICO MODA Mac Lipsticks

I love window shopping for make up. Why? It's because most of the time, I don't have enough budget to purchase an item. So I end up telling my friends about the make up and they end up buying. Anyway, let's proceed to what I'm suppose to tell you. Last week, Rowena ordered some lipsticks from UNICO MODA. So I volunteered to drop by the shop and pick up her order. And look at the colors of these babies!!! ;))

REVLON lipsticks

Robinsons Dasma is having their whole month SALE this August. And I was quite lucky to swatch some of the lipsticks they had. Actually these ones are the Buy 1 Take 1 lipsticks. Look how lovely the colors are.

The thick swatches are Lip Butters and the thin ones are lipstain Just Bitten. I wonder if I'll be able to purchase one of these. I just love how creamy it felt upon application and they make your lips feel hydrated. Well, that's my opinon. Bid from Zero Winnings

I won a bid from the facebook page of Bid from Zero.
Yes I did. This page is where your bid starts from zero. And their increment can be as low as A PESO! They have great products and they always held a bid everyday. The products are absolutely gorgeous, I was so excited to open them the moment mom said that the package arrived. Here's a shot of the products I got for 180 pesos. ;)

Superb Sale Bazaar at SMX

Woke up around half past 4 in the morning, I have no idea why. I can't even remember my dream, if ever I was dreaming. Maybe I was just excited to go to the bazaar at SMX. Anyway, I went back to sleep and woke up around 8 in the morning and got prepared. KC and I met at Pala-pala around 11am and arrived at SM Mall of Asia around 12.30nn. We (including Alvin) had lunch at Bonchon for the first time because I badly wanted to try their chicken. I got the drumstick with rice then ordered a Frozen Yogurt with Blueberry.. KC bought some takoyaki from Musashi takoyaki for us! ;)

Try Again

Just like yesterday, I tried the kaleidoscope make up done by Ms. Say Tioco Artillero. Now I had a wing effect placed using my gel liner. I still can't get the look and it still ends up like this.

Actually that's practically it. Pink on the inner corners, Gold at the middle, Blue at the outer corner and Purple on the lower lashline. Still I can't get the BONGGA effect I'm looking for. I just loved how the blush showed in this picture and I still love my MAC lipstick villain (looks bude with a bit shimmer.) Anyway, I have nothing else to do but talk about anything. Whatchu doin? ;)

Epic Trying

I have nothing else to do but to stay at home and manage our mini school related store. Yes, practically that's what I've been doing the whole summer because my brother has classes, my mom is doing some paperworks and my dad is managing the construction of our house. Oh well, I decided to try the Kaleidoscope make up done by Ms. Say Tioco Artillero on her blog. Oh well, it didn't go that well with my skills and this is how it ended up.

I even forgot to do a wing on the eyeliner. Errr. I got the slightly nude lipstick right there. KC, told me it looked good. I don't see it, but anyway, there's always tomorrow and let's see what happens then. For now I'm trying this look as good as I can. Till next time! ;)
