I have incredible large pores. I mean it. You can see my pores from 2feet away from me. I can't do anything to cover it because it is really difficult to do so. What I do is I just reduce to a less noticeable size with the help of my usual BB cream. That's why I love the BB cream. And I have learned some way  on applying it to make my pores less visible. And that is all about reading. Anyway, let's move on.

Remember that I told you about the exchange gift I had last Christmas, here's another gift I got. Maybelline Baby Lips Color in Rose Addict. I am literally addicted to lip balms because my lips get easily dried up. And when they become dry, they get chapped. I have a habit of biting my lips to the point of peeling of its skin. Sometimes when I'm anxious, I unconsciously start peeling the skin of my lip then bite it off. It even comes to a time I'll taste blood, that's when I'll stop. That habit signals my body that I'm anxious, so instead of fidgetting or walking in circles, I bite my lips. Ok enough of that, let's talk about the new product I'm trying.

Ok so this product claims to:
*Exclusive lip renew formula
*Protects and moisturize for almost 8hours
*After 1 week, lips are visibly renewed
So I decided to give it a try. Here's a shot of my before and after application. Pardon the lips, it's not that perfect as the ones seen on magazines

So far, I like it. It's not that sticky, I like the faint fragrance and I like the slight tint it gives on my lips. It's like they're natural and they are in gorgeous color. I tried wearing it before going to bed and when I woke up, I could still feel a light cover of the lipbalm on my lips. I love feeling of having to touch my lips and not feel any cracks. MAYBELLINE Clear Smooth Shine Free Cake Powder

As an exchange gift last Chistmas season, I received Maybelline goodies. One Baby Lips lipbalm and Clear Smooth Shine Free Cake Powder. And for this post, I'll be telling you why I love the Clear Smooth Powder. But first, let me tell you a little about how I discovered this product. Few months ago, I've been noticing Agatha's little pressed powder that she uses before heading back to class after lunchtime. I asked her about it and she told me that it's just a refill because the packaging was pricey. She let me try it even if it's in the color HONEY which is a bit darker for me (gave me an instant tan when I used it), anyway I still loved it. My first impression, it gives a medium coverage. Thus making you pores and blemishes less noticeable, great right? Here's the refill I've been talking about which costs 149pesos. You can check out the price at any supermarket or drugstore.

MAYBELLINE BB cream

I've been loving the Maybelline New York Clear Smooth BB cream. I've been using it for almost 2 years now and I've loved it ever since. I always had the 01 fresh. It stands up to its name Blemish Balm.   The package comes in a small tube with a nozzle so you'll be able to control the amount of product you'll dispense.

What it does is:
*Brighthens skin like you just had a glowing foundation
*Evens out skin tone
*Smoothes face
*Refines lines for that younger skin
*Clears and Conceals for that flawless look
*Moisturizes so your skin becomes hydrated
*Protects skin with the help of SPF 26
It blends perfectly on my skin. I love it so much because it really evens out the skin tone and instantly lightens the skin without the overdone look. Here's how the product look like and how it its blended out. Look how it perfectly lightens my skin without being noticeably literally white.

See? What's not to love about this product. I haven't tried other BB cream so this one is still my favorite. You should try it. It is available in Watsons in any SM mall branches. It costs around 200pesos and it is all worth it. ;)

Face of the Day: Pink Hue

If you can notice everything about my blog, it's PINK. I love pink! And almost everything I own have a hint of pink. But I seldom use pink as an eyeshadow color since I think it's quite bold for me. Well anyway, since I was inspired by the P500 Make up Challenge done by Ana Victorino I decided to try it. It's not as perfect as hers but I tried using the same colors.

I think this would pass up to be an everyday look because I didn't made it too dramatic at all. Oh well, i still love pink. MAYBELLINE Water Shine Pure Lipstick

This lipstick, not from my money. He bought it and he personally picked the shade. Since Maybelline is 30% off during all weekends of May, I decided to have one for my own. I got mine in MF21, it is pinkish red color with an ample amount of shine. Let's start with the package. It's just the usual type of lipstick container with a nice silvery blue hue.

What I love about this is like after smoothly applying this lipstick, the shine it gives isn't like the one where you top a lipstick with a gloss. The shine is like you drank water and the water effect stays on the lipstick. Isn't that great? I don't know if this is a good thing or not but I swatched the lipstick on the back of my hand took a shot then took a bath. I was so shocked when I still saw a hint of the lipstick on the back of my hand. I don't know if you can see in in this picture but I encircled the spot where I swatched the lipstick.

Oh well, I love the color and the hydration it gives my lips. I will definitely buy another one of these after emptying this one. Face of the Day: Less Colors

I always wanted to have dramatic eyes or if I don't go for dramatic eyes, I go for bold lips. Sorry, I just love doing it. It becomes a hobby. I like colors, it makes me feel good and active. If that makes sense. Anyway, here's a look that I didn't put too much color on.

Unico Moda Haul

Lately, I was at Unico Moda's store to pick up Rowena's stuff. And I got a chance to chat with Pam and Pau about their customers and my readers. Remember when I blogged about BENEFIT's Eye Bright? CLICK THIS LINK to read the post about that. They said that since I posted that, their customers suddenly wanted to try Benefit's Eye Bright. WOW! My eyebags was really convincing. Pinagpuyatan ko yun! What more can I say, this product really works. The product became so in demand, they were out of stock few days after I posted that blog. Another thing is that, it is heart warming that people are reading my blog. WOW! WOW! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. Uhmm.. Face of the Day: Hide those Eyebags

Pardon the same shirt of this picture. I am currently loving this shirt that's why I keep on wearing this whenever we go to Tagaytay. It's actually a long sleeves cotton shirt which keeps me comfortable in cold weather. Anyway, let's move on with my face of the day. There isn't much about this look, but I don't know if you could see. the colors I used are quite showy.

Face of the Day: Foundation Routine

And because I'm totally in love with this MAYBELLINE Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Foundation, I decided to use it with a foundation brush. No regrets, I love how it looked on me. Not only it looked flawless but it also decreased the visibility of pores which is a huge problem for me. And now I appreciate how it these things work.

EYES:

Pearl pink eyeshadow cream as base

Gold eyeshadow on lids

Rust colored eyeshadow on crease

Black eyeliner with a wing

Navy blue eyeshadow on top of the eyeliner

Any color of lipstick would do but since I like to keep it fresh, I just settled on a pale pink shade from Avon. Not much on the blush, I just used ELF all over color stick in pink champagne just to have a slight color on my cheeks. Anyway, that's practically it. MAYBELLINE LIP Smooth Color & Care

I'm a doing a tag for this Lip balm because I'm currently loving it and it does great results for my lips. It has SPF that's why it made me love it even more. You still need SPF on your lips because like your skin, too much sun can dry it up and cause chapping. Remember that healthy looking lips have less lines & cracks, doesn't have a dark outline and it looks lighter (usually light pink in  color.)

Anyway, let's talk about this product shall we? I bought this for less than a hundred because I forgot my lipgloss or even lipstick one day when I was out. And I thought, since my old lipbalm is ready to hit the end so I decided to buy this Maybelline Lip Balm. I got the one in Cherry, it has a slight tint of coral on my lips and I love it. It's not too red, pink or orange. Just the right amount of all those shades. It softens the lips because it has Jojoba oil and Vitamin E. So it's like a protector, beautifier & enhancer of your lips. And I think you should try this one if you love tinted lip balms. ;)

Princess likes The Pen

Our little Princess Japa likes how I did my cat's eye yesterday so I brought it at school so she could check it out. It's Maybelline Hypersharp Liner, I love it especially when doing a wing / cat's eye. The tail looks definitely defined when using this pen. You should try it like what this girl did. Here's a picture of her with a drawing of a crown on the back of her hand.

Awww.. Look at her hair, it's already so short. Remember the last post where I had her picture? It was titled Skin Types. Her hair was long then. She told me that she just needed 2 more inches and her hair will measure 3feet. Nice! Anyway, we still love the way she looks. ;)

MAYBELLINE Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Foundation

Yes, I bought this product at the Superb Sale Bazaar at SMX last Saturday and I just used it today because I'm in a hurry yesterday. Anyway, moving on to the product. I bought this for 250pesos and I can't find the right shade for me. I just got the Light 4 because it's a bit dark and yellowish which I think would be good on my skin.

Woke up around half past 4 in the morning, I have no idea why. I can't even remember my dream, if ever I was dreaming. Maybe I was just excited to go to the bazaar at SMX. Anyway, I went back to sleep and woke up around 8 in the morning and got prepared. KC and I met at Pala-pala around 11am and arrived at SM Mall of Asia around 12.30nn. We (including Alvin) had lunch at Bonchon for the first time because I badly wanted to try their chicken. I got the drumstick with rice then ordered a Frozen Yogurt with Blueberry.. KC bought some takoyaki from Musashi takoyaki for us! ;)

MAYBELLINE Hypersharp Liner

As I had said in my previous blog post, Alvin bought me this Maybelline Hypersharp Liner. I usually use liquid liner because it's long lasting and smudge proof. Anyway, let's start with the review. The package of this is quite small or thin just like a ballpen and it is easy to hold on to for precision application. And the cap is literally just like popping off a cap of a ballpen.

When they say "HYPERSHARP" they actually mean it, the tip was so sharp, it is  like a newly shapened pencil. But it is really soft so no problems in accidentally poking your eyes.

It is indeed so sharp it lines like a 0.5 ballpen. Look how thin it is when I swatched it on the back of my hand. I have to encircle it in case you won't be able to notice the line.

The package also says to prevent leakage of the liquid, avoid shaking or dropping the product. And it also says that it should not be kept in standing, like it should be lying on flat surface. Oh well, I still love it and is only 279pesos when we bought it because of the 30% off from all Maybelline products during all weekends of May. Mall Hopping - Mini Haul

I went to Alabang to meet up with Alvin. We just wanted to have a bit of celebration for our 43rd monthsary since we don't usually see each other everyday. I dropped by to Joyo, a boutique where you can buy Chinese or Japanese brands of cosmetics. I have to buy 2 HengFang mascaras for KC and Agatha because they liked how the mascara is really waterproof and it's only 69pesos. When we met at Starmall, I told him that I wanted to have sunglasses like his (Aviators) so he bought me one for 50pesos. It's typically the same with his, the difference is that mine had a gold rim.

We had our lunch at Sbarro, again, because it's our favorite place to have pizza.  We always have 1 pizza and 1 pasta then we split the 2 in halves. Why? Because we can't have 1 pizza & 1 pasta each, we won't be able to eat it all (we have tried it and ended up taking home our left overs.) Today we tried the Angus beef cheese pizza, it was loaded with beef that are easy to chew. Actually the pizza tastes like Chicago Everything pizza, difference is the Angus is loaded with beef. Then we had 1 meat lasagna in white sauce (because we both love white sauce.) Yes of course, I had my own Infinitea Caramel Milk tea again. We had the most fulfilling meal ever! <3
