Face of the Day: Pink Hue

If you can notice everything about my blog, it's PINK. I love pink! And almost everything I own have a hint of pink. But I seldom use pink as an eyeshadow color since I think it's quite bold for me. Well anyway, since I was inspired by the P500 Make up Challenge done by Ana Victorino I decided to try it. It's not as perfect as hers but I tried using the same colors.
EYES:
Ever Bilena Flesh eyeshadow on lids & inner corners
Ever Bilena Brown and Purplish-Brown eyeshadow on crease area
Maybelline Hypersharp Liner on upper lashline

FACE:
Clean & Clear Pressed powder in Natural
AVON Smooth Minerals blush in Blushed

LIPS:
Maybelline Baby Lips in Rose Addict
Ooops! Just in case you can't see the eyeshadow because of my hooded eyelids, here is a shot of my my half closed eyes. I think this would pass up to be an everyday look because I didn't made it too dramatic at all. Oh well, i still love pink. Anyway, I just want to share that Ana is having a 2ND YEAR ANNIVERSARY X CHRISTMAS 2012 GIVEAWAY and I think you should also join! Just click the link for more details and to see the prizes that she'll be giving away! I love all the gift sets but if I were to choose I'd love to have the gift set #1. You better check it out before it ends! Thank you for reading and till next time! ;)

"Mom please let me try a bit make up on you"

It's a monday and we don't have anything to do around here so I asked mom for like a thousand times if I could do her make up. I told her it would be so dramatic because she kept on refusing me. Maybe because whenever I do my make up even when I just stay at home, I go over the edge and look like I'm going to a costume party. Anyway what I just used are:
*ELF All over cover stick (face)
*Ever Bilena Advance Foundation Stick in Creme (face)
*Careline Pressed Powder in Natural (face)
*Avon Pink Blush (cheeks)
*Ever Bilena Precision Blender (eyebrows & eyes)
*Avon Simply Pretty in Lucky Orange

That's it, she won't let me do anything else. She even told me that when she wears lipstick, she doesn't swipe it like I did, she just dabs it on her lips. On her eyes, I have no idea what I'm going to do because she has hooded lids and whenever I tried to put on color it becomes hidden when she opens her eyes. She keeps saying "Tama na kaya, sobra na nilagay mo." (enough, you've already placed too much.) Which is I haven't even done so much on everything. I love you MAMY! Maybe next time you'll agree to what I'm going to do and stop asking me to stop. Here's the before and after, nothing much actually. ;P

EVER BILENA Pro Longwear Loose Powder

I always wanted to mention Ever Bilena Cosmetics, I've been using them for years now. This Pro Longwear Loose Powder in Natural color is the one I got when we had our JFT production at school. There are a lot of unused make up that was left that day so I decided to just bring them home. The janitor will be throwing them away because he's cleaning the dressing room when I found the make up. Anyway, let's talk about the product. The package is just a small container with a built in retractable brush at the cover. I don't use the brush because it's kind of stiffer than the brush on my toothbrush so it hurts when I tried it on my face. I just use my own powder brush when applying this.

It stands up to its name Pro Longwear because I used it in the morning and I still had it up until lunch time. For a loose powder that's quite a staying power. I use it over foundation, concealer or BB cream and it blends well to my skin with any of it. It also doesn't feel heavy when you applied it, feels like you just used a baby powder but it works like a pressed powder. It is good for on the go when you don't have this to use a pressed powder, just used a brush with this product and glide it over your face, and it gives light to medium cover. I hope you find this informative, I've love this product and hope that you'll also try this. Here's what it looks like, on the left side is the powder form and on the right side of my arm is when I blended it. See how you can barely see the product when blended out? And compared to the left side, you even can't notice that the pores are less noticeable on the right side. Light to medium coverage! ;)
