LAURA MERCIER: Luxe Colour Wardrobe, Dual Decker

This might be the best gift I'll ever receive from my parents. Part because I love make-up and also because this is the first time they have ever given me a gift that involves make up. So let's start?

It is the Laura Mercier Luxe Colour Wardrobe, Dual Decker Colour for eyes and Cheeks. It's cute because it's a dual decker. It has a blending brush, smudge brush, pencil brush and flat angled brush. More after the break!

The brush is dense, the fibers are super soft, can be carried anywhere and fit any kikay kit and it is easy to clean. And after several time of washing / cleaning this brush, it still remains soft as new! I have nothing against it. BRUSHES: ELF and Fashion21

These brushes are one of the first eyeshadow brushes I had. I love these one because I think they're all I ever need for eyeshadow application. Another thing is that these brushes are so soft it glides smoothly on your eyelids. I also love the long handles which makes it easier for me to grip them.

 I got a large Fashion21 eyeshadow brush which I use for eyeshadow color all over my lids. I use the mini Fashion21 eyeshadow brush for crease color, which definitely applies the color and blends it thoroughly. I also have the ELF professional Blending Eyebrush is somewhat like a pencil brush which I use for blending out the colors just to avoid the harsh lines on my lids.

I love these brushes and I use them everytime I put eyeshadow on. I bought the Fashion21 brushes for less than 100pesos, and the ELF brush for 129pesos. These are great quality brushes for affordable prices, I found them at Watsons in SM Megamall. You should try them out! ;)

Unico Moda Haul

Lately, I was at Unico Moda's store to pick up Rowena's stuff. And I got a chance to chat with Pam and Pau about their customers and my readers. Remember when I blogged about BENEFIT's Eye Bright? CLICK THIS LINK to read the post about that. They said that since I posted that, their customers suddenly wanted to try Benefit's Eye Bright. WOW! My eyebags was really convincing. Pinagpuyatan ko yun! What more can I say, this product really works. The product became so in demand, they were out of stock few days after I posted that blog. Another thing is that, it is heart warming that people are reading my blog. WOW! WOW! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. Uhmm.. Last one before going to my main topic, since the Eye Bright pencil is out of stock, you can choose this one.

Clean your Brushes

I always clean my brushes every other day because this helps me prevent breakouts. Besides, it's hygenic to clean your brushes. For my face bruhes, I have a pair of powder brush, stippling brush and blush brush. I have them in pairs so whenever I wash a set, I still have another set to be used while I wait for the other brushes to dry up. This shot shows only 1 set.

Stippling Brush

I've been using this stippling brush when applying make up because I saw a video of Judy from itsJudytime from Youtube using a stippling brush. She said that these brush can create an airbrush look when using a liquid foundation. And I saw another video from gossmakeupartist which he explains why and how the stippling brush works when applying a foundation. Anyway, let's move on and give this brush a lil appreciation!

I bought this at Festival Mall just at a stall on the Lower ground floor, I think it costs around 100? I can't remember actually how much is it, but I bought it because all the stippling brush I saw was around 500plus pesos. I'd settle with this brush for now and it gave me good results when I'm doing my liquid foundation application before finding the right stippling brush I need. It is also easy to wash because it's not dense. ;)
