LAURA MERCIER: Luxe Colour Wardrobe, Dual Decker

This might be the best gift I'll ever receive from my parents. Part because I love make-up and also because this is the first time they have ever given me a gift that involves make up. So let's start?
It is the Laura Mercier Luxe Colour Wardrobe, Dual Decker Colour for eyes and Cheeks. It's cute because it's a dual decker. It has a blending brush, smudge brush, pencil brush and flat angled brush. More after the break!

MAJOLICA MAJORCA Cream De Cheek in Shell Pink Cream

This is the first time I've encountered this brand. Why? For me it's quite pricey. But most people say, the price is reasonable enough for the quality of the product. If you can remember, I have won COM for March from The Beauty Junkee blog. Here's a list of the products included in the gift set, view my post: Unexpected Package. This product is so lovely, I just do wish I know how to use the liquid blush. Take a look at the packaging! ;)

I BELIEVE: Blush should look Natural

This post would rather be short because I just want you all to know that when applying blush, your color must always look natural. I mean why not? Would you like to look like a doll or a clown that has a perfect circle of pure pink color on your cheeks? So what do we do?

Instead of smiling when placing your blush on your cheeks, try not to smile. You see when you smile, the apples of your cheeks elevate. So when you place your blush on the apples of your cheeks while smiling, the blush will then pull the color down your cheeks when you stop smiling. Creating an illusion of lower cheekbones. And we don't want that.
TIP: apply blush without smiling.

Your blush should also complement your face shape. When your face is more elongated or let's say more like an oblong, your blush should be more horizontally / parallel to the ground. This creates the illusion of less longer face shape. So you brush it from the apples of your cheeks to your ears. Unlike when your face is rounder or more circular, your blush should make your face look slimer & longer. So you brush it from the apples of your cheeks to your temples. Illusion is what you need to maximize the effect of your blush.

Face of the Day: Nude Lips

This look was sponsored by Ate Cindy's birthday gift for me. She's the elder sister of Agatha. Agatha also got the same palette I have. Hers is leaning more on the neutral side while mine is more likely to be used for the Smokey eyes effect. Anyway, let's move on to what I came up with the gift.
Oh yes, I am awkwardly smiling in this shot yet again. Why can't I just have a  nice and happy smile where it doesn't look weird?

Unico Moda Haul

Lately, I was at Unico Moda's store to pick up Rowena's stuff. And I got a chance to chat with Pam and Pau about their customers and my readers. Remember when I blogged about BENEFIT's Eye Bright? CLICK THIS LINK to read the post about that. They said that since I posted that, their customers suddenly wanted to try Benefit's Eye Bright. WOW! My eyebags was really convincing. Pinagpuyatan ko yun! What more can I say, this product really works. The product became so in demand, they were out of stock few days after I posted that blog. Another thing is that, it is heart warming that people are reading my blog. WOW! WOW! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. Uhmm.. Last one before going to my main topic, since the Eye Bright pencil is out of stock, you can choose this one.
Photo credits to Unico Moda. This one has the Boi-ing which is a concealer, great for hiding unruly blemishes. You got Boi-ing and Eye Bright in one, great deal huh? It costs for about 160pesos. I'm telling you, this product will be your bestfriend during your sleepless nights. ahahaha. Anyway, let's proceed to the haul I picked up for Rowena.

ELF All over Color stick

Thank you KC for telling me that Robinsons Imus has a section of ELF in their Department store. As you all have known, I have been loving ELF ever since I've discovered them at SM Megamall. It's because that they are affordable even if they are a brand from abroad. Besides they have a wide selection of products to choose from. The latest one I've got is the ELF All Over Color Stick in Pink Champagne.

Ellana Mineral Blush

Remember the post I had telling you that I won the giveaway, Ms. Georgia of Wake up for Make up held. Well this product is one of the goodies inside the bag. Ellana Mineral blush in Bunny! Look how lovely the color is.
Well, I'll just reiterate what it said in the label. Pale peach with rosy pink shimmer, and that's actually the description of the color of the blush. Mineral makeup doesn't feel heavy on your skin and it's just feels like you just used a baby powder. That's how light mineral makeup is.

Try Again

Just like yesterday, I tried the kaleidoscope make up done by Ms. Say Tioco Artillero. Now I had a wing effect placed using my gel liner. I still can't get the look and it still ends up like this.
Actually that's practically it. Pink on the inner corners, Gold at the middle, Blue at the outer corner and Purple on the lower lashline. Still I can't get the BONGGA effect I'm looking for. I just loved how the blush showed in this picture and I still love my MAC lipstick villain (looks bude with a bit shimmer.) Anyway, I have nothing else to do but talk about anything. Whatchu doin? ;)
