JELLY TEA

Being a milk tea lover that I am, as you have know if you have read some of my posts, I am always in search for new milk teas. This is because I know that each and every store has it's own type of milk tea. So here's another on to be added to my adventure. JELLY TEA. Their store is located at Martas Bldg, Mangubat Avenue, Dasmarinas Cavite. They are located at the back of NCST and near the RCBC bank.
They have a wide range of variety of drinks. They have milk teas, fruit teas, rock and salt milk teas, traditional teas, coffee latte and oreo blends. We ordered rocksalt and cheese milk tea in Hazelnut. It was delicious! They also have different add-ons to choose from like: nata, egg pudding, black sago, coffee jelly and green tea jelly.
What I liked about the Rocksalt and Cheese milk tea is its uniqueness. The cheese as distributed on the sides of your drink, which gives your milktea a hint of sour taste but not easily noticed. The rocksalt was definitely new to my taste when it comes to having milk teas. They give that tangy taste that compliments the milktea deliciously. Definitely new and far from the other boring milk teas that I have tried. I suggest you try this one too! ;)

COBO Milk Tea

In the search of a new milk tea, I discovered a new store at SM Dasma just beside the cinemas. And yes I need to try it, I know I do the moment I saw it. And of course, I ordered the usual. Caramel Milk tea, which is my favorite. I love it so much. Milk tea with a kick of caramel. They serve it in a plastic cup sealed and served with a huge bore straw. The look is typical for milk teas that are serves in stores and freshly blended as you order. The price starts at 80php and they have different add ons like pearls, green tea jellies and coffee jellies and some bobba.
The milk was quite bland, the tea was ok. I like their milk tea but not enough sweetness to love them. By the way, they also have this chart in which you can choose how you like your mik tea. Less ice, more sweetness, a little hot and the like. Such preference are usual to freshly made milk teas. I love the taste of the pearls because they are cooked perfectly, I love to chew on pearls on my milk tea. I think it adds to the appeal of the drink itself.  Anyway, have you tried this one? Let me know on the comment box below. Thank you for your time. ;)

ASSAM Milk Tea

And yes! After a long hiatus, I am indeed back with a post about a milk tea. I just found this because of a friend who suggested it to me. Why do people suggest different milk teas to me? It's because I'm addicted to milk teas and I've decided to try different ones and share my thoughts about it here. Ok, now let's start with the packaging. Since I just bought it in a convenience store, it is in a plastic bottle. The taste? It's very similar to the Lipton Milk tea. I can't even describe it more because for me the taste is really the same.
It doesn't have jellies or pearls which made me sad. Awww. I was really expecting pearls or jellies on each milk tea I try. Anyway, I bought this at 7-11 for 45php. So I think you can grab this at any convenience store or at the supermarket. If you have tried this, let me know what you think in the information box below. Thank you for your time.

SCHLURP Milk Tea

I actually find it hard to pronounce it the first time I read it. Anyway, here's another first for me. I have seen it from my classmates and they have told me it tastes good and I should try it. Knowing that I love milk tea, they let me have one. SCHLURP costs around 60pesos and available in 7eleven branches nationwide. It comes in a 500ml bottle, convenient huh?
And so the interrogation begins. The milk tea tastes good, it says the brewed Earl Grey Tea is blended perfectly with the milk. For me, it's a bit bland. Maybe I'm looking for a stronger taste of tea rather than the usual bland taste. The jellies are definitely chewy. Yup, it's jellies and not pearls. I wonder why, but it tastes good. You know how I love to chew on pearls and jellies while having my milk tea. Anyway, I have nothing more to add. I suggest you taste it for yourself and tell me what you think in the comment box below. Thanks for your time reading! ;)

BON APPETEA

The milk tea store across our school. Yup, just across our school but I seldomly go to this place. For me the milk tea here is quite expensive. Well, that's only my opinion because I don't stretch the limit of my wallet in terms of the things I want. Ok, I'm blabbering again, let's move on.

Karate Kid: Caramella Milk Tea

Of course, this is another milk tea post of all my milk tea adventures. Are you ready for this unusual one? Why did I say unsual? It's because I didn't know karate kid had a milk tea. Well, for me it's unusual. Sorry, it's the first time I tried eating here. I don't know why I've never tried having some meal at this place. Anyway, let's move on to the topic at hand.
I'm sorry about the picture, I was kinda excited about trying it.
Ok, they only have 2 types of milk tea. The Royal Milk tea, which is just a usual milk tea and the Caramella Milk Tea which is the one I've tried. What can I say about this? The pearls are chewy but some of them are clumped together making it hard for me to sip them. The tea in this milk tea is quite strong like the caramel flavor, but it blended well so I find no problem with it. This drink comes in 2 sizes regular and large. I bought the regular for 60pesos and I think it was worth it. It was just ok for me but I would not be taking another one of this for the mean time. Anyway, thanks for your time!

CHATIME Milk Tea

Oh yes! Another Milk tea post!!! Yes, this is the first time I have tried Chatime. Why? It's because I haven't seen a store of this within Cavite. Anyway, I'm still glad I've found this one and tried it. They have a store located at Landmark Trinoma near the Mindanao Ave entrance, in front of Landmark Supermarket, lower ground floor. And now, moving on to the milk tea at hand!

DAKASI Milk Tea

And because you all know I love milk teas, here's another milk tea post for you! I have recently tried Dakasi because it's located at The District Mall in Imus, Cavite. It's the Ayala mall made closer to the Cavitenos. I have been there for like 3x already. We just go there if there is something to celebrate like end of a hellweek, or we did a great job on a project, we finished our thesis and things like that. My group of friends don't usually go (all-out) to malls without an occassion. Ok let's talk about my new milk tea adventure.

SERENITEA Milk Tea

Another milk tea adventure I'd like to share to you. I was at ATC (Alabang Town Center) to meet my nursing friend, kasi last kami nagkita y noong graduation pa! GRABEHAN LANG SA TAGAL. She's busy in work nowadays and planning to take NCLEX, while I'm busy at med-school. I haven't seen my nursing classmates for more than a year now and seeing them gives me that feeling that no relationship can top that.
Oops, that was way too far from the topic I'm suppose to talk about. Anyway, moving on to +SERENITEA. It's the first time I've tried this one because I haven't seen a store with the usual malls I go to. I ordered Okinawa and added some pearls. For me, a milk tea is incomplete if it doesn't have pearls in it. You can also choose what level of sweetness, from 0-100% sugar. I asked it to be 100%. The price range is from 80pesos (for plain milk tea) up to more than a hundred based on the add-ons.
Photo from Google

I usually order Okinawa in other milk tea stores just because I love my milk tea with a hint of caramel to make it sweeter. I don't know but when I tasted it it was quite bland for me. Maybe there is too much ice in it? I was looking for a bit of a strong tea taste rather than just milk. I'll try other milk tea flavors they have (Hokkaido perhaps) and I'll compare it. Somehow, I was a bit disappointed on my order. But I will not give up, because I love milk tea! Here's the link of the Facebook page in case you want to look for other locations of Serenitea. Thank you for your time! ;)

CHA-AH! Milk Tea

Cha-Ah! Clever name for a milk tea. I actually don't know how to react to this name when I first saw it. And since it's a holy week, eating healthy is a must. Pardon the photobombing of the Quaker oaties cookies. It's another yummy healthy food. You know, the usual no meat and no unhealthy food week. What do you usually have during holy week? If you have read my blog posts, I really love milk teas and I like it when it has a caramel kick into it. I love my tea sweet that's why whenever I try new milk tea, I make it sure that the one I'm getting has caramel in it. Sorry for being a sweet tooth but I can't help it. And whenever I'm asked what is the sugar percentage, I always have mine in 100% sugar. YUMMY!
This Milk tea is kinda new to me. I mean, the usual tea that has a very mild taste to it that it almost tastes like water with a bit of flavor (that's how I can describe this one.) It doesn't have much taste into it. The caramel can't be easily isolated from the bland taste of this one, as for the taste of the milk tea. Nah! I don't like it that much and like I said I try different kinds of milk tea just to compare them. Anyway, have you tried this one? Let me know what you think in the comment box below. Thanks for your time! ;)

THAI TEA

YES! Another blog post about a milk tea!! It is because I love trying different milk teas. Either it's freshly brewed or instant (which may come in can or tetra packs) I have to try it and compare with the ones I've tried. And for the sole reason that I want you all to know how it would have tasted. If you want to try them, I always leave info on where to find these milk teas.
Moving on to the star of this post. THAI TEA. I just found out about this milk tea because of a friend of mine who introduced it to me, saying: "I know you love milk tea and I think you would want to try this one." So here it goes.

Oops, sorry for the cropped photo. I just got this from PJ, that day he introduced me to this one.

First of all, I would like to mention that this milk tea in can is kinda HUGE. You know the regular size of soda in can? Uhmmm... The size of this is about 1 and a half can of a soda. Better comparison is that if ever you get to buy Monster energy drink, it's in the same can size as this one. Next one is that this milk tea is nicely blended with soy. I mean it, it is delicious! It's insanely good and gives a nice twist on a regular milk tea. The downside of this drink is that it should be served chilled. It doesn't taste good if it's warm or not even chilled. You can buy this in 7eleven stores and costs for 45 pesos, but I think it's already 51 pesos the last I checked. Anyway, once you get to taste this let me know and leave a comment on the box below. Thanks for reading and till next time! ;)

C2 Milky Tea

As most of you have know (well, if you have been seeing some of my posts here and on instagram), I love MILK TEA!!! And I taste almost every new milk tea I encounter. And this one costs only 13 pesos so I immediately took it from the stack and paid. That's how impulsive I get whenever I see a new milk tea. So without further a do, here's the C2 Milky Tea! ;)
This would be a rather short post because the C2 milky tea is the usual tea with a taste of creamer. Yup, you read that right. Creamer! The one you put on the coffee. That's what it really tastes like, I mean it. Don't worry, I still love it. I love how the creamer blends perfectly with the tea without overpowering the taste of good ol' tea. Anyway, tell me if you have tried this. Leave a comment below if you have anymore suggestions of good milk teas out there. Thank you for reading and till next time! ;)

Frapperific Milk Tea

I just discovered a deleicious milk tea at Robinsons Dasma. It's FRAPPERIFIC! At first I thought it was all about frappucino so I didn't bother check it. One day, I asked KC if we could try one frappe just to have a drink for our snack, but when I check out the menu, I was shocked to see that they are also selling milk teas. Here's a shot of their menu.

SmooTea Milk Tea

I love milk tea, that's why I've dedicated a tag solely for milk tea and you can view it at the right side of my blog. Check it out because I have tried many milk teas and I've given my reviews on them. I would also like to know what you think about those brands I've tried. Here's the link if you can't find it.
I've tried another milk tea called SmooTea which I just discovered because KC told me about it. It is located at the lower ground floor of Robinsons Dasma just infront of the Supermarket. I got the caramel milk tea because I always had caramel ever since I've been trying flavored milk teas. The tapoica was good and chewy so no problems with that. Here's a shot of their menu.

Tokyo Tokyo Hokkaido Milk Tea

You know I love milk tea so it's no wonder why I always blog about the new milk teas I'm loving. Lately, I saw Tokyo Tokyo have it's own version of a Naicha / Milk Tea. I tried the Hokkaido, it's a caramel flavored milk tea with black pearls and red tea jelly. It's only in 1 size and the Hokkaido is for 70pesos while the Original is for 60pesos. And because I'm so inlove with milk teas, I immediately tried it.
Uhmm, what can I say? I love it. The milk tea tasted good and I have nothing against it. The tapoica is just chewy unlike the other milk teas I've tried where the tapoica is either too hard that it takes time to chew it or it's too soft it's already like a gelatin. The love how the red tea jelly gave a twist of taste in the milk tea. I can't exactly describe it, so I suggest you try it out for yourself. I bet you'll also love it. ;)

Starbucks Hojicha + Tea Jelly Frappe

Since Agatha had to pay the Maybelline Liquid foundation I gave her, I asked her instead to just treat me at Starbucks. When she got the usual, and I got to taste a new drink. They're brewing 2 new drinks: Hojicha + Tea Jelly Frappe and Red Beam + Green Tea Frappe. I tried the Hojicha, so if you love trying out something new this is a drink to try.

Superb Sale Bazaar at SMX

Woke up around half past 4 in the morning, I have no idea why. I can't even remember my dream, if ever I was dreaming. Maybe I was just excited to go to the bazaar at SMX. Anyway, I went back to sleep and woke up around 8 in the morning and got prepared. KC and I met at Pala-pala around 11am and arrived at SM Mall of Asia around 12.30nn. We (including Alvin) had lunch at Bonchon for the first time because I badly wanted to try their chicken. I got the drumstick with rice then ordered a Frozen Yogurt with Blueberry.. KC bought some takoyaki from Musashi takoyaki for us! ;)

Mall Hopping - Mini Haul

I went to Alabang to meet up with Alvin. We just wanted to have a bit of celebration for our 43rd monthsary since we don't usually see each other everyday. I dropped by to Joyo, a boutique where you can buy Chinese or Japanese brands of cosmetics. I have to buy 2 HengFang mascaras for KC and Agatha because they liked how the mascara is really waterproof and it's only 69pesos. When we met at Starmall, I told him that I wanted to have sunglasses like his (Aviators) so he bought me one for 50pesos. It's typically the same with his, the difference is that mine had a gold rim.

We had our lunch at Sbarro, again, because it's our favorite place to have pizza.  We always have 1 pizza and 1 pasta then we split the 2 in halves. Why? Because we can't have 1 pizza & 1 pasta each, we won't be able to eat it all (we have tried it and ended up taking home our left overs.) Today we tried the Angus beef cheese pizza, it was loaded with beef that are easy to chew. Actually the pizza tastes like Chicago Everything pizza, difference is the Angus is loaded with beef. Then we had 1 meat lasagna in white sauce (because we both love white sauce.) Yes of course, I had my own Infinitea Caramel Milk tea again. We had the most fulfilling meal ever! <3

Gong Cha for Me

Yes, it is Friday again so I have to be at Ortigas to pick up some checks. And I wouldn't miss taking a new taste of another milk tea I'm having my eyes on for like forever. At last! I had GONG CHA, I ordered Caramel Milk tea. Medium sized for 75pesos and I added some pearls for 15pesos. I had it in full sugar because I love having my drink sweet. The pearls, just enough to be chewed for a moment. Unlike other pearls on milk teas where it's too soft or it's too hard. Anyway, what can I say? I love it! I will definitely be going back and buy myself a large size one. The Gong Cha in SM Megamall is located at the 2nd Floor Mega A Atrium. You should try it!

They got a lot of different drinks you can choose from and it is definitely affordable. For less than 100pesos, you'll be having a quality milk tea. And not just milk tea, even different kinds of tea, juice, coffee. You can even customize it the way you want. Like if you want to have less sugar or add on pearls or grass jelly. Just tell them and you'll get it. Thumbs up! ;)

Expect the Unexpected

It's a Friday so yes I'm off to Ortigas to pick up some checks. Anyway, here's the look I'm sporting for this day. Mom bought the shirt for 100pesos at Starmall Alabang. The quantum necklace is 300pesos at 168 DiviMall. Balck tube top is around 50pesos at Divisoria. And an old maong pants from the closet. BTW, I just painted my nails on the left hand because I'm really not good at using my left hand for applying nailpolish on my right hand.
