Our beloved Strike is SICK

Our dog Strike is a very active dog. Whenever we come home from either school or somewhere, he crazily wags his tail and jumps incredibly high just to lick our cheeks. He is also very sweet, whenever one in our family is sick he would just lay beside us like he wants to cuddle. The amazing thing with him is that he is very picky when it comes to his food. If he doesn't like his food, he's ignore it for the time being and wait for his next meal. He is also very stubborn at times, if he doesn't want to get up from his bed, he won't. If he doesn't want to take a bath, he'll hide under the bed. But that what makes him unique and that's the reason why we really consider him as part of our family. His birth certificate? Strike Mahusay! ;)

Mom and Strike bonding time

I would like to show you how mom and Strike bonds during snack time. They are eating binangkal here. It is just a bread covered in sesame seeds. This is delicious and I suggest you try this. Even Strikes love it, look! ;)
Strike is a very gentle dog. Even if you feed him on your hand, he won't be able to hurt you. He would lightly bite on the food preventing his teeth to go thru your hand. He would even go to a doormat to prevent crumbles whenever he eats something. Manners! As a family, we consider him as the youngest. Isn't he adorable? I have different blog posts about him, just click the tag DOG or ANIMAL on the quick finds on the right side of this page. Thank you for your time reading and I really appreciate it!

My Brothers goofing around

Well, since Strike already bears our surname He's already a part of our Family. He knows Dad not as Rey but as his father because he's always at dad's side whenever he's around. He knows Mom not as Josie but as his mother because he's afraid and would hide under my bed when mom gets angry at him. And I bet he thinks he's our baby sibling. We even address ourselves as ate and kuya whenever we talk to him. Anyway, this post is about my brothers.
Marco loves having pictures with Strike, and we kept on finding ways on how to make Strike look at the camera. But most of the time, we fail. Anyway, these 2 always piss each other off, and they would run around the house and stop only until Mom gets angry at them. Well, that's how they love each other. Look at this picture! It's the moment before Strike sneezes, I love it!!
Well anyway, that's practically it. I just want to let you know that these pets should be treated as family, not just like an animal. They are the ones that love you more than themselves and would even protect you if the time comes. Take care of them and they'll be forever thankful for you presence. ;)

Parents + Strike

When we had Strike, he's the smallest puppy in the bunch and no one wants to adopt him because he looks like he'll easily die because of his small body. Dad and mom told us that he'll never live long because he looks sickly. I'm quite glad that after some time, they grew to love him.
Dad loves Strikes so much that Strikes returns it excessively. Whenever Dad comes home from somewhere, Strike will bark at us, like he's telling us that Dad just arrived. Then when he sees Dad, he'll jump high, run like a madman then licks his face. That's how happy he is when he sees dad. That's practically what he also does with Mom. He's not like that to Marco and I. In the picture above, they are checking if Strike has lies. Family bonding time! ;)

Years come by fast

When you are doing something, it feels like time flies away so fast. Moments pass by and all that's left are traces of it from memory. But why does when you are bored, you feel that the clock stops and the seconds are having a hard time ticking? I'm really wondering, so if you have answers for me, leave it on the comment box below.

Its seems like yesterday whenever I remember how we adopted Strike and made him part of our family. He was so small he could sleep on a soup bowl. You can ever carry him on you palm while he's sitting. Yup, he's that small. He's the smallest among the 6 puppies her mom gave birth to. All the 5 ones already been adopted and they taught Strike would die because he's so small no one liked him. And because we don't have any dogs that time, we decided to take him. He likes to sleep with me when he was small and he loves milk!

Can't Live Without You

Mom and Strike got out this afternoon for a walk and to visit the house my dad is trying to rebuild. I actually can't tell you the whole story, just bits and pieces of it because mom kept laughing while she's telling me the story. They are actually having fun of Strike for a few hours.

Strike goes out with Dad

We don't usually take Strike for a walk for reasons:
*Strike usually sleeps under mom's table at the office
*Mom is busy doing paperworks
*Dad is busy with the new house
*Bro has summer classes
*I've got to manage the store since I don't have classes
*Ate She, our kasambahay is busy doing chores
Today is Strike's lucky day because dad took him out and walked him around the nieghborhood for almost 30minutes.
The cute thing is that whenever we say that we are going out, he tends to be so excited that he runs around the house, jumps at us and becomes so inattentive. When he does that, it takes a lot of time and effort to place his leash around him. Look how cute he is! We love him so much and I bet he loves us too. <3

Hi there, little kitty

I always feel my heart breaks everytime I see animals being abandoned or hurt by people. They are just small creatures and can't hurt us human beings. Even not the small creatures, old dogs or cats left in the road where they get killed on the road. I'm actually fighting tears thinking about these poor animals. If only I could adopt them all or take care of them, but I can't. I don't have my own house, I don't even have my own money to buy you food. I'm sorry.
Today, our dog Strike kept barking so I looked out the window to see what is he barking at. There I saw a kitten crouching at our gate. It was so thin, so small and its fur has patches. Maybe he's lost, I run my finger on his head to comfort it a bit because I think it might make him feel a bit better. He liked it! I took my camera and took a shot of him.
After this shot, I realized that his left eye is gone. Maybe he got played by kids. My heart literally broke into pieces and I can really feel pain in my chest (seriously.) I kept talking to him as if he can hear me. I said things like, "where is your mother?" or "are you lost?" and "are you hungry?" He wouldn't leave that place and he kepts on meowing.

BRO, license? Strike, manners!

I accompanied Mom to the bank because she need my money to add up with hers because she's going to need it for something I don't understand. Oh well, I would trust my mom with my money besides she taught me how to open a bank account and to deposit & withdraw money from it ever since I was in grade 6. We were about to go home but my brother texted mom to grab some Milo Blast (Milo flavored sundae swirl) at Jolibee so we head on there.
When we got there, mom was literally shocked when she saw that it was 37pesos. She texted my brother again telling him that it's too expensive for a sundae, he then replied that's he's at the bank looking for us. After almost 10 minutes he arrived at Jolibee with our Hilander Isuzu, that set my mom on fire. See that blue vehicle, that's ours. And that's mom in the blue-green shirt and blue shorts. What a scene! ;)
Mom was so mad and worried at the same time because Marco still haven't got his non-pro license and he's already driving at the highway. I told him that if he gets caught, we can't defend him because it's wrong to drive a vehicle without a license. Mom told him that he'll be getting his license when she stops worrying. So that'll still be a long time. Anyway, he got his Milo Blast then we went home. Mom had pasensia cookies for snack and Strike wanted to have some so mom placed a used bondpaper on the floor to use as placemat for Strike to use. Just to avoid the cookie crumble mess. I love how this family acts! Watch the video here. :)

Under the SuperMoon

Last night, I saw the moon so big and it's colored yellowish-orange. I took a picture of it just for me to have a souvenir of how cool it look like that night. My shot wasn't that good but I can still remember the beauty of it last night.

And because my tooth aches like crap, I decided to have some ice cream just to numb the area. I had cookies and cream while watching American Pie 1 and 2. A little later my dog, Strike, suddenly makes funny noises and giving me puppy eyes just so he can have some ice cream. I took a saucer and placed a spoonful of ice cream and gave it to him. He actually loved it. He had almost 5 spoonfuls of ice cream from my cup. He just stopped when I showed him that there wasn't anything left on my cup, he then walked it off.

About the movie American Pie, I just started watching it because Alvin told me to. Besides, whenever I call him I can't talk to him properly. Why? He stops then laughs then asked me what I've just said. I later found out that he's busy with American Pie sequels and he can't wait for the American Pie reunion movie. That's why I decided to watch it. What can I say? I enjoyed the movie that's why I'm gonna start where I've left off yesterday. So I'm done with American Pie 1 and 2, I'll be starting on American Pie 3 while trying to fit in Pathology. Yes, I'm that boring. I haven't even been near to a beach or a pool this whole summer vacation. Boo! Mom and Dad doesn't have time, money is quite a problem also because we're trying to finish our house after a year. Anyway, I still love my family. ;)

My dog gets a tan

I always wake up at around 7-8 in the morning. By that time, I head downstairs to greet my family good morning then check out my dog, Strike. He usually gets up around 10-11 in the morning that's why we consider him as the baby of the family. His birth certificate also indicates that his surname is the same as ours. He's just an ordinary dog, he's a son of a street dog which we adopted from our neighbor.

Whenever I greet him, he doesn't usually gets up instantly. He just looks at us lazily. It's like he's saying, "what?! it is so early in the morning!" After greeting him, he will get out from his house and proceed to a plastic chair which is always located just beside his house. The thing I'm wondering about is that he likes that chair even when it is directly on sunlight. I mean, in the morning if you don't want to get up or wake up you tend to pull down the blinds. But unlike my dog, it's exactly the opposite.

I think he's getting vitamin D from the sun? I asked my dad what's his opinion about our dog's behaviour. He said, "maybe he just wants some heat." From then on, we didn't took the chair from that place and he always does that in the morning. It's really fun to look at actually. ;)

Supposed to be somewhere

I was supposed to be at Ortigas today to pick up a check but when we called, there isn't any checks scheduled today so I decided to just play with my make up.. And this is the first time I noticed how the contour on my cheeks show quite good on this picture. I just used a dark orange blush.. ;)

And today I uploaded a video of our dog, Strike. We always love how he reacts to certain situations and we always hope we can capture it on a video and here's one of the most amazing thing he did. He's trying his best to put water on his food because it's hot. How amazing could he be. ;)

Trying something new

Today I tried the make up mom & I bought from Manila. What do you think?

And I also got a new battery for my Acer Ferrari because the old one was malfunctioning to the point it isn't charging anymore. I got the new one for P5,500 from the Acer Service Center at Paco, Manila. How did I get there? From   Pasay, we rode LRT 1 going to UN ave with P12 as fare. There is a tricycle terminal beside Mcdonalds just below the UN ave LRT station. You have to ride the tricycle to get to Paco.

Another new dog, but my dad didn't like it because we already have our dog. Besides (quote my dad), we have to go to school so how are we suppose to take care of this little thing? Awww.. he's just super cute and we named him Lucky. Something we got from puppy names on the internet. A friend of our dad adopted him from us and promised to take good care of it. Besides, he wants his kid to have a playmate. ;)
