LOLA's 3rd Death Anniversary

I MISS YOU LOLA Es
Gone but never forgotten.
She died days after I took the Nursing board exam and before the results were released. I just can't imagine how I've gone through that days.

DADDY's Birthday

I'm thinking about how to give someone a gift when they have everything? I mean, someone who can buy anything he wants. Oh well, it's my dad's birthday on the 15th and my brother and I have no idea what to give him. Maybe a card? Oh yes, the typical cheap and sentimental cards. It is where you place all your thoughts and wishes to the birthday celebrant. We have given him a personalized coffee tumbler, picture frame and even a shirt. Do you have any suggestions? Please leave them in the comment box below. Thank you so much! ;)

SemBreak 2012: Heading North

From Cavite to Ilocos is nearly a 12hours drive, plus another 2-3hours heading to Cagayan. Why did dad choose to be on the road than fly? Well because we will be seeing a lot of beautiful places on the way to Cagayan. Anyway this post will be lengthy so be ready. Let's start! On our way to the North we left Cavite at around 6pm. We packed some clothes and food for our trip. And for our breakfast stopover at North Luzon Expressway, I tried a new Milk Tea called Tea & Co.. Just an original flavor because they don't have a Caramel one. It costs 70pesos plus 10pesos for the pearls. Costly, I think. I don't like the packaging because the cap can't contain the milk tea inside causing spillage. The taste: just fair. It lacks the original milk tea taste I'm craving for. Would suffice if you are looking for a milk tea but not the best.

Zombie Mode

My brother and I are soooo addicted to The Walking Dead series we searched for a zombie booth (an application where you just take a picture of yourself then it'll turn your face into a zombie). Kinda cool right? We actually loved it.

In case you want to know, The Walking Dead has a game, TV series and comic books. So whichever you prefer, I have a hunch you'll love it. Too bad we don't have cable TV in our home so basically, I ask my friends to download an episode so I can just watch it on my lappy. Anyway, if you have other suggestions of great stories and great effects TV series, please let me know in the comment box below. Thank you so much for reading and till next time!

Birthday gift

As you have all known, I'm not much into gadgets unlike my brother who is very techy. I usually settle with what I have. Let's take for example, my phone. I had this phone since 2010 as a gift of graduating BS Nursing. And I'm still using it and I have decided to keep it until it gives up. One day, my mom and dad called me downstairs to show a gift for my birthday.
Please pardon the quality of the shot, I just used my phone in taking this picture. Take a look at that, Samsung Galaxy 7.7.. I'm at awe! I don't even know what to say but THANKS. I'm still figuring out how to manipulate this thing and when I do, I'll write a post about the things I enjoy with it. Any comments about this thing that I should know? Tell me about it in the comment box down below. Thank you for your time reading! ;)

Epic Faces

Whenever my cousins come over just to hang out with us, we always watch a movie in my BIG MAMA (my hard drive's name). Last time, we didn't have a movie to watch so we ended up just talking about random things like food, TV shows and even news. At their early age, they have an urge to know more about the current events of our country.
Look at their faces, EPIC! We were talking about the man who punched the officer. We talked about how rude that is and then thought of many tortures that can be done to that guy who doesn't know the word respect. We kept on laughing that time that our cheeks hurt. Anyway, thank you for reading! ;)

Alupihang Dagat

It's crazy how my parents love seafood so much unlike me and my brother who loves meat. I seldom eat seafood because I have an allergy to those. The worst allergic attack that happened to me is when I started to have bronchospasm (my airway contracted and I can't barely breath). I was in panic that time because I'm not on a medical field yet and I have no idea what was happening to me. Since then I limited my seafood intake to once or twice a week just to be safe.
Do you guys have any idea what is this? My mom said it is called Alupihang Dagat. She said that it tastes like shrimp and I should try it. Even though I don't want to, my mom insisted that I try one. And yes, it does tastes like shrimp. But I'm not in the mood for some seafood that day because I have my Munggo at chicharon for dinner. Tell me, have you tasted this kind of seafood? Leave it on the comment box belove, thank you for your time! ;)

Bookstand for ME!!!

There are times that my neck hurts whenever I read hours and hours of book. And I don't just read, I write on it, I highlight and place post-its all over the place. So I bought a small bookstand a year ago, and it immediately gave up to my Clinical Anatomy book by Moore. Since I can't afford to buy a sturdy one, I became contented to just reading them on the table. And now that I'm a second year, I was shocked that my parents bought me a wooden bookstand! ;)
I'm so ecstatic to use it because I know it can support Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology and a lot more books that weigh more than a kilo. I'm not kidding, they are really heavy. Why? They are magazine type book which makes it heavier than paper. Mom and Dad bought this at National Bookstore at Festival Mall, Alabang when they had a meeting at The Mac store. Anyway, if you are also suffering from neck pains due to chronic reading and bad posture, you should have a bookstand. Thanks for reading and if you have anymore suggestions for me and for the readers, feel free to leave a comment below. ;)

Caribe at the Islands Tour

You know places like Carribean type of houses? I only see them on magazines and they seem so surreal. The model house and ready to be occupied looks like it was torn directly from a magazine. I'll be posting a lot of photos here so get ready for huge loving! ;)

RED RIBBON Sansrival: Sibling Faves

Sometimes, my brother and I meet up at SM just so we could go home together. This time he went to National Bookstore to buy a card for her girlfriend which he always does every month. We kept on arguing about him having a relationship because ever since he started dating that girl, his academic grades literally goes down the drain. I kept on telling him that it' ok to have a girlfriend, as long as it doesn't interfere with his studies. But I guess he so used to that sermon, he just let it pass by.

Anyway, I love my brother and we have a lot of interest & likes. Like when we saw the huge electrical fan hanging at the ceiling in the middle of SM Dasma, we immediately thought of the movie Final Destination. When we encounter a funny situation we usually quote a movie *commonly used lines: White Chicks movie* Lately, when we passed by the store of Red ribbon, we simultaneously said SANSRIVAL! We love the Red Ribbon's Sansrival because it's so delicious even though it is pricey.
Look at how thin this yummy sansrival is. My brother kept saying: YOLO. It means, You Only Live Once. We actually love how this statement is very viral abroad but still hasn't bloom in our country. Anyway, this piece of heaven is worth 24pesos. Still pricey but I just wanted to have some sweets. What are the foods you just can't resist and you can't help but say YOLO! Thanks for your time. :)

Let's get PHYSICAL

My cousins are learning tennis at a very young age. I even though that the racket itself is quite heavy, but when I tried swinging one it doesn't fell that heavy at all. Look at these 2 sibling of my Uncle Ses playing seriously with each other. I love how they both look at his picture.
I wonder why I'm not much into physical activities. I'd rather go sleep or read a book all day long that sweat. In case you want to know if I know any sports, I'm good at swimming, great at volleyball and fair enough in badminton. So if you want to play some sports with me, just hit me up. Please take note that before asking me on a game, ask if I had enough sleep and rest for the previous days because if not I'd be sleeping in the streets before reaching a certain court. Thank you for your time! ;)

BULALO Medley at Tagaytay

Whenever we attend the first Sunday mass or celebrate an occassion we always head to the Bulaluhan at Tagaytay just before reaching Mendez. I kept forgetting the name of the place but you wouldn't miss it because it is a parking lot with a lot of nipa huts where the customers use to have their meals. Plus there are musikeros or singers that play songs while you're eating.
Uhmm. That's my dad with the pink shirt, Mom and I bought that pink shirt for him at Alabang. The musikeros played a theme song from the telenovela Walang Hanggan. Mom, me and my brother were so ecstatic hearing those songs because we're an avid fan of that telenovela. Anyway, you should try eating at that place. TMC already tried this place and I bet they also loved it. Are there other place that you know of for great tasting bulalo? Thank you for your time! ;)

Babysitting

My uncle Ses and aunt Medina needs to clean their house because they left it a week ago. So they asked us if we can take care of the kids for a few days just until they are done cleaning their house. And I would just like to introduce to you my lovely cousins from the Mahusay clan.
This is how I spent my Independence day!

My Brothers goofing around

Well, since Strike already bears our surname He's already a part of our Family. He knows Dad not as Rey but as his father because he's always at dad's side whenever he's around. He knows Mom not as Josie but as his mother because he's afraid and would hide under my bed when mom gets angry at him. And I bet he thinks he's our baby sibling. We even address ourselves as ate and kuya whenever we talk to him. Anyway, this post is about my brothers.
Marco loves having pictures with Strike, and we kept on finding ways on how to make Strike look at the camera. But most of the time, we fail. Anyway, these 2 always piss each other off, and they would run around the house and stop only until Mom gets angry at them. Well, that's how they love each other. Look at this picture! It's the moment before Strike sneezes, I love it!!
Well anyway, that's practically it. I just want to let you know that these pets should be treated as family, not just like an animal. They are the ones that love you more than themselves and would even protect you if the time comes. Take care of them and they'll be forever thankful for you presence. ;)

Victoria's Secret

I love the Angels from Victoria's Secret. Who wouldn't? Especially Miranda. OMG! I love her face and she even got a hot body and a gorgeous husband. I bet their kid is super beautiful. Anyway, let's move on to the part where I have to talk about these perfumes.

Parents + Strike

When we had Strike, he's the smallest puppy in the bunch and no one wants to adopt him because he looks like he'll easily die because of his small body. Dad and mom told us that he'll never live long because he looks sickly. I'm quite glad that after some time, they grew to love him.
Dad loves Strikes so much that Strikes returns it excessively. Whenever Dad comes home from somewhere, Strike will bark at us, like he's telling us that Dad just arrived. Then when he sees Dad, he'll jump high, run like a madman then licks his face. That's how happy he is when he sees dad. That's practically what he also does with Mom. He's not like that to Marco and I. In the picture above, they are checking if Strike has lies. Family bonding time! ;)

Can't Live Without You

Mom and Strike got out this afternoon for a walk and to visit the house my dad is trying to rebuild. I actually can't tell you the whole story, just bits and pieces of it because mom kept laughing while she's telling me the story. They are actually having fun of Strike for a few hours.

OOTD: Mom & Daughter

Mom decided to get sexy while I decided to wear something comfortable. Sige mamy, ikaw na nagpapaka sexy! Ako na mukhang tambay! weee!! love u MOM!!
Well I just decided to show you what my mom wore today because I think it looks cute on her and the design is really pretty. Summer time (even though it's raining.) She bought it at Starmall Alabang just at one of the tiangge, she said it was just 90pesos. See we are so stingy in these kinds of things. Pretty stuffs, good quality and affordable price. TIPID! ;)

Friday Date with Bro

This would be the last Friday for me going to Ortigas for now because my classes start next Tuesday. And since I'll be having a walkathon from MRT-Megamall-Orient Square-Megamall-Shangri La Plaza, I decided to wear flats. Sorry if I'm not smiling nicely again in this picture, so I'll do an awkward face instead. ;P

Beautification All Day Long

I tried the Bohemian skirt I had again, I just don't know why. Uhmm. Maybe because I like it airy? Anyway, here's a shot of my OOTD while I have no idea how to pose beautifully. Why do I always look so awkward?
