NEW 1 peso coin

There's a new peso coin! I got this as a change from my bus fare. I didn't bother to ask about the coin because it is the same size as the old peso coin and just decided to keep it for myself. It's kinda odd when I showed it to my family and they told me that it might be fake or just a token or a toy. But I did some research on Google and yes, it is a real coin. Here's a shot of the coin.

This one was made to commemorate the 150th birthday of Dr. Jose Rizal. It will be circulating through the country together with the new set of bills. I better be collecting the old ones whether paper or coins, they might be a good memorabilia in the coming years. ;)
