Beautification All Day Long

I tried the Bohemian skirt I had again, I just don't know why. Uhmm. Maybe because I like it airy? Anyway, here's a shot of my OOTD while I have no idea how to pose beautifully. Why do I always look so awkward?

Sutures gone

1 week after the impacted tooth on the right side of my mandible has been extracted, oh yes! The sutures have been pulled out! I feel a bit pain but I can manage. My dentist even asked me when will I have the other impacted tooth extracted, I actually answered I don't want it to be pulled out anymore, I don't have the guts to do this agony all over again. Anyway, here's a picture where you can see there's no sutures anymore. Just a whole lot of gums.

Anyway, it was just a simple procedure and no need to inject anesthesia. I was expecting it to hurt because I'm already anticipating the how the sutures will pass through my gums. I can still feel a bit of a sting just thinking about it. What the dentist did is cut the suture in half then slowly pulls it out. And that's actually it. I had my last dose of antibiotics last 4pm just to prevent infection and reduce the swelling. The right cheek has still a bit of swelling, I can measure it because whenever I smile I have a line at the corners of my mouth. Whenever I look at the mirror, I notice the lines. I have more prominent lines on the left side of my mouth but not that visible on my right side mouth corner. I don't have a proper picture for it and this is the closest one I've got, sorry. But I hope I have described it just enough. I can't wait for the time for it to totally heal completely so I can eat properly. 

For this whole week, I'm living with just a spoonful of rice every meal. It hurts whenever food goes near my wound and I can't even open my mouth completely. That's why I eat less than I wanted and I've already lost an inch on my waistline. What involuntary hurts? Yawning!!!! It feels like my wound has been stretched so bad and I would end up regretting that I'm sleepy. Anyway, sorry about the picture just keeping updates on how it looked like when I had impacted tooth extraction. ;P

When will this subside?

It's been 5 days after my impacted tooth extraction but my right cheek is still swelling like crap. I don't know if the headache I'm feeling is related to this but it goes away few minutes after I've noticed it. It still on the treatment my doctor told me.
*Saline gargle after eating
*Antibiotics 500mg 3x a day every 8hours
*Cold compress for 10 minutes
*Avoid giving pressure
*Gentle brushing to avoid the wound


I follow each of these orders and I want to be better but I'm not feeling good at all. I sometimes tend to be a hypochondriac where I always think of the worst that's gonna happen to me if ever. Anyway, here's what I look like and I don't like it at all. ;(

(+) swelling of right side mandibular area

It's been 3 days since my impacted tooth at the right side was extracted. Yup, it's been a 1 hour and 20 minute procedure because 1 of the root of that tooth has a hook that anchors at my mandible. Anyway, so my right cheek is swelling for almost 3 days now. I can eat whatever I want but I need to chew it on my left side because when food gets on the right side, my wound would hurt. I look like I have mumps on the right side of my cheek.

It is really noticeable in the picture. I'm quite scared actually because it looks like it's not healing that well. I mean, when I look at it from the inside it doesn't look nice at all. And every time I swallow, it tastes like medicine. My brother even told me that my breath smells like betadine. I will be having my check up this Saturday to get the stitches out. I'm so hoping that I'll get better soon. I want to eat normally and enjoy the food I want. ;(

Impacted no more

I'm scheduled for impacted tooth extraction for today so I woke up at around 7am just to get ready. I had a hearty breakfast because the dentist told me that I won't be able to eat after the procedure. Anyway, I would just like to show you what I wore for today. I had a large sized limited edition ONE HUNDRED YEARS Lasallian shirt because I wanna get comfy when I'm in the dentist's chair and paired it with skinny jeans. Comfy for surgery!!

Deciding what to do next

Today was a good day for me.. let me detail in bullets..
*I did a new type of make up. It's from diamondandheels of youtube, Taylor Swift CMA eye make-up. Trying this one and see how it looks like on me.

*Next, mom and I went to the dentist and had my panoramic xray. Just look at that BAD IMPACTED TEETH on both sides of my lower set of teeth. It tends to get painful at times and even Mefenamic acid can't do a damn thing. Oh well, I'm getting it out this month I guess.

*And the last one is that, I got promoted to 2nd year. I'm gonna be a 2nd year Med Student this coming school year and I'm quite excited about it..
